1st Annual PBS Crawfish Boil

HOUSTON…
Come support the ladies of @pinkbootshouston at our 1st Annual Pink Boots Society Crawfish Boil on 5.15 @walkingstickbrewing
This is an all day event with crawfish by @cockadoodle_catering boiling at noon & @fusionconfusiononwheels
@walkingstickbrewing will be releasing their Pink Boots Collaboration Beer straight from the taproom and proceeds from the day will directly benefit the Houston chapter
When you purchase crawfish or beverages throughout the day, simply mention that you are here to support and you’ll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win some super cool brewery baskets and swag from our favorite friends and supporters around town.
This will be a family friendly event with live music by @jbbarnettmusic from 3-6pm followed by a set from our friends @holyhellitsaband

🚧 The street will be busy with the construction on Wakefield, please take Judiway to access our parking lot. Street parking is limited and marked, NO street parking is allowed on Judiway – this is a moving lane and HPD will be monitoring.

Harry Potter Trivia

Join us for Harry Potter trivia at the brewery produced by Faye Fearless Trivia in partnership with Worthwich School of Wizardry. Hosted on the outdoor patio.
Get ready for the most challenging trivia you’ve ever done! All original questions – created, written, and hosted by super fans!
Questions come exclusively from the book we are covering this month (with just a few questions based on the movie). Be sure to reread the chapters before trivia!
We get through 70 original questions in 2 hours at each and every event! At the end of 7 rounds, our top 2 teams face off in an EPIC finale wizard duel.
Topic – Order of the Phoenix (ch. 1-12 & movie)
6-7pm Social hour with fellow HP nerds. Come early and grab yourself a delicious pint to enjoy before trivia starts. Form your team, strategize, and study up on your spells, charms, and enchantments.
6:30-7pm Check-in for trivia
7pm Round 1 of trivia begins promptly at 7pm, DO NOT ARRIVE LATE, or you may not be able to play and your ticket will be forfeited. As long as at least one person from your team is there and started playing it’s ok if another member of your team needs to arrive later, be sure to get checked in with your host in between rounds
How Trivia Works:
-7 rounds with 10 questions per round, all teams get to play through all rounds
-finale wizard duel between top 2 teams
-teams of 4-6
-gift cards and exclusive fan badges to the winning team
-no spectators allowed to sit with playing teams, if you’re in the play area you need a ticket, there will be other seating areas of the venue for those enjoying a pint but not playing trivia
-bring a wand for the finale duel
All ages welcome at the brewery.

Wine and Workshop Wednesday

Join me and Frankie and Flora at Walking Stick Brewery for a charcuterie building workshop and hat and fascinator class. In my class you will learn tips and tricks for styling a beautiful board. You will pick your choice of hat color and create a dried arrangement fascinator that is unique and fun, perfect for Spring. The dual workshop comes with two glasses of wine or beer as well as a charcuterie cup to snack on. Charcuterie workshop can be purchased alone as well.
