Crafts and Crafts Workshop 1/26/23
January:
Crafts & Crafts is an open-house style workshop hosted by Walking Stick Brewery on the 4rd Thursday of each month, for you to gain
experience in a new art media.
Crafts & Crafts specializes in custom designs for every project. 
Make your reservation now and your custom materials will be prepared in advance.
January’s project is Etched Glasses
!
From mugs and pints to wine and champagne
, we’ve got all your favorite vessels. Pick a quote, make a monogram or bring your own images 
to the workshop (project perimeters apply). Etched glasses takes 45 minutes to an hour. One pint of tasty liquid courage 
️included. Additional glasses to make pairs and sets available on site.
Our kids projects are only $5, geared for creative fun and make the best gifts for artists of all ages.
Fuzzy babies can make art too! Swing by a workshop and see what kind of pet crafts we have available!

Dan and Kev
Daniel and Kevin is an acoustic duo formed by members Daniel Perez and Kevin Thompson. The two childhood friends have been playing music together for over a decade. Dan and Kev have always had an aligned taste in music and during college the two started playing local Houston bars on a regular basis leading to the formation of their band “The Good Heart” for their original works.
Although the two continue to work on original music, they still enjoy playing covers at local bars and music venues throughout Houston. Dan and Kev play a variety of different genres including Texas Country, 90s alternative, Americana, 70s and 80s Rock & Roll and current hits.

Each month we quiz fans over one book from the Harry Potter series with content split by difficulty level – OWL and NEWT.

Try our OWL level event with questions designed for the casual fan. Test yourself at NEWT level event with challenging questions curated for super fans. OWL level is always the first event hosted each month and NEWT level the second.
– How Trivia Works –
After 6 rounds of questions points are tallied and our top two teams are entered into the finale duel.

The finale duel will be a themed speed round. Teams have the option to choose their champions with some or all of their players competing. Points earned by teams during the duel round will be added to their score from the previous rounds to determine our winner.
The winner will be the team with the highest total score across all rounds including the finale duel.
All teams that participate in the finale round will be invited to the exclusive Trivia Bowl at the end of the series, where they will compete against other finalists for the ultimate bragging rights.

Access to the trivia bowl is by invite only and is exclusive to the two top teams from each event and annual pass holders. Top teams from both OWL and NEWT level events will be invited to compete,

Wood & Steel
Kenny Karr
Singer/Songwriter
Born and raised in Texas, Kenny cut his musical teeth on 70’s Acoustic Rock, playing bass in a family band called “True Texas” during the mid 80’s.
After moving to Orlando, Florida, he was invited to audition for the “Kim Hightower Band.” Running through some music together, their musical connection was almost immediate, and began performing around central Florida for the next four years. In 2012, Kenny left the band, moved to south Florida, and put together his Americana band “Altered Roots”.
In 2019, Kenny ventured out to concentrate more on his solo/duo act, “Wood & Steel.” As fate would have it, coming full circle, Kenny moved back to Texas in 2021, and began booking solo/duo shows again as “Wood & Steel.” In March of 2021, he began the search for additional musicians who shared his love for “Outlaw Country-Rock and Roots.” “Wood & Steel” has hit the road running booking shows around Houston and Southeast Texas.

David Pearce
David Pearce is the lead singer/songwrite, guitarist and vocalist of Cavetroll. David enjoys playing mostly blues and rock and roll covers with a large variety of originals. Mixing in originals and covers by Britney Spears, John Denver, Bill Withers, Black Keys, and even Elvis Presley…you’ll be sure to sing along and enjoy!
